Midwest Dairy to Participate in Nebraska Dairy Convention « Back
View PDFPrintEmail FriendLINCOLN, Neb. -- Midwest Dairy Association’s Nebraska Division is making plans to play a key role in the 2012 Nebraska Dairy Convention March 13-14 in Norfolk. The event includes a trade show, seminars, a banquet and meetings of a variety of the state’s dairy organizations.
At an 11:30 a.m. luncheon on Nov. 13, Midwest Dairy will provide an update on its partnership with the National Football League to fight childhood obesity. The initiative, called Fuel Up to Play 60, reaches hundreds of Nebraska schools.
A booth in the trade show and an update during the evening reception will also provide information about dairy checkoff activities funded by Nebraska dairy producers.
The evening banquet on Nov. 13 will include the coronation of the Nebraska Dairy Princess, a position funded and administered by Midwest Dairy Association to reach consumers in a variety of ways.
On March 14, the Nebraska Division board of Midwest Dairy Association will meet.
All activities take place at Divots Conference Center in Norfolk. Registration materials and addition information are available at nebraskamilk.org.
