Butter Sculpting goes Live in Dairy Building at Fair
The butter cow has been a tradition at the Illinois State Fair since 1922, and in recent years, sculptor Sharon BuMann has been carving the exhibit so that it’s ready to unveil before the fair opens. Midwest Dairy's work with the St. Louis Rams earned a "People's Choice" award at a national Fuel Up to Play 60 Forum recently. We were singled out for the individual Rams player cards containing the customized Rams Fuel Up to Play 60 logo, which were distributed to children by Rams players during their appearances.April 2012 Highlights
Ten schools that did the best job of implementing Fuel Up to Play 60 in northern Illinois will receive a once-in-a-lifetime visit to Halas Hall this spring. Each school will send 10 kids to an event where they’ll participate in physical activity drills at the Peyton Center. Meanwhile, the top Fuel Up to Play 60 adult program advisors will be rewarded with a chance to attend a black-tie wine and cheese reception there.March 2012 Highlights
