Missouri Governor Jay Nixon yesterday signed a proclamation recognizing Fuel Up to Play 60 for its efforts in encouraging students to eat healthy and be active. Fuel Up to Play 60 is an in-school nutrition and physical activity program that encourages students to make positive changes in their schools by improving opportunities to consume nutrient-rich foods and to get at least 60 minutes of physical activity daily.St. Louis Rams Players to Visit Rogers Middle School to Reward Them as Winners of the Fuel Up To Play 60 National Touchdown Dance Challenge

The celebration for the Missouri Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor of the Year, Kathy Beezley of Rogers Middle School, featured St. Louis Rams alumnus La' Roi Glover. After playing 13 seasons in the NFL, Glover is now serving as the director of player programs with the team. He encouraged students gathered at an assembly honoring Beezley to continue with the program and make it stronger next school year.May 2012 Highlights
Midwest Dairy's work with the St. Louis Rams earned a "People's Choice" award at a national Fuel Up to Play 60 Forum recently.
