February 2012 Highlights
North Dakota Dairy Princess Rachael Rott visited the Sheyenne 9th Grade Center in West Fargo in January to help with the school’s Fuel Up to Play 60 kickoff events. The student team there planned a week filled with fun activities and contests, and encouraged the students to take the health pledge. They ended the week with Rachel's visit and an opportunity for students to get their milk mustache picture taken.
December 2011 Highlights
Five North Dakota Schools recently received a total of $17,750 from Midwest Dairy to help fund their Fuel Up to Play 60 projects. Schools receiving funding this fall are Cheney Middle School and STEM Center in West Fargo,South Middle School in Grand Forks, Ben Franklin Middle School in Fargo and Stanley Elementary in Stanley.
September 2011 Highlights
Stanley Elementary School in Stanley is home of the North Dakota Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor of the Year. Elonda Davidson is a physical education teacher and has been an inspiration and motivator to her students to get involved in numerous Fuel Up to Play 60 projects.
