Iowa State Fair
The Iowa State Fair’s agricultural history is evident each August, and Midwest Dairy Association’s role is key to the fair’s success. As a sponsor of the famous Butter Cow sculpture, we capitalize on the interest in all things dairy by serving products at two Dairy Bar locations. Hand dipped ice cream cones and shakes top the menu. Sponsorships of the milking parlor, Little Hands on the Farm and the Ag Magic Show help to tell dairy producer’s stories.

The contest happens every August in Des Moines - on the night before the Iowa State Fair begins. Once chosen, winners help tell the public about the dedication dairy farm families have to producing wholesome products for consumers, and how committed those families are to responsible animal care and environmental stewardship.
