Missouri State Fair
Since 1901, the Missouri State Fair has been an attraction for all ages, and the dairy industry has been very involved in its success. Midwest Dairy Association's is a Grand Champion sponsor of the fair held in Sedalia. Fair-goers look forward to a variety of dairy events and activities, including dairy treats at the organization's concession in the Gerken Dairy Center.
Next door, the cows being milked are a popular attraction and provide a backdrop for Midwest Dairy Association to help visitors become more acquainted with the "People Behind the Product," Missouri's dairy farm families. A butter sculpture in the Gerken Dairy Center is an added attraction.
