February 2013 Highlights
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Tony Moeaki has filmed seven videos to utilize in schools in support of Fuel Up to Play 60. The videos offer a fun way for the NFL player to encourage students to become engaged in the program in their schools. Much of the video content focuses on the importance of breakfast. Moeaki also wanted to send a video “thank you” to dairy producers for their support of Fuel Up to Play 60.
January 2013 Highlights
The University of Nebraska - Lincoln Nutrition Science Department has invited Beth to be a panelist at the annual Food and Nutrition Update Conference. Beth will discuss Fuel Up to Play 60 and its impact on child nutrition and activity in Nebraska.
November 2012 Highlights
October marked the end of year one of the Nebraska School Breakfast Challenge, which motivates all schools in Nebraska to increase breakfast participation by at least 35 percent and/or start a breakfast program at a school.
