Josh Miller, a student from Basswood Elementary School in Maple Grove (District 279), experienced a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet renowned business leader Warren Buffett at Berkshire Hathaway’s annual meeting in Omaha, Neb. today as part of GENYOUth Foundation’s AdVenture Capital grant program. Miller was one of five students serving as a Student Ambassador for Fuel Up to Play 60, the nation’s largest in-school wellness program created by National Dairy Council and the National FootballMidwest Dairy Council Rewards Three Minnesota Schools with Visits from Vikings Player Kyle Rudolph for Fuel Up to Play 60
Students and staff at Palmer Lake Elementary in Brooklyn Park, Golden Hill Learning Center in Rochester and Bridgewater Elementary in Northfield are ready to show some purple pride! Because of their enthusiastic efforts in the Fuel Up to Play 60 program’s Super Bowl Breakfast Challenge, they have been awarded visits from Minnesota Vikings player and 2012 Pro Bowl MVP, Kyle Rudolph on Thursday, February 28 and Friday, March 1.Minnesota Highlights
