Oklahoma Highlights

Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor activation awards were given in September and October to the Shidler Elementary School, Shidler, and Carver Middle School, Tulsa. The prize package contained Fuel Up to Play 60 premiums and items to keep the kids and supporters excited about Fuel Up to Play 60 and further engage the entire school.

Our newest staff member serving Oklahoma is Ashley Anderson, who joined us recently as health and wellness program manager. Ashley’s role is to serve as a liaison to health professionals, and she is responsible for television, print and radio interviews in Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma.

Midwest Dairy Council, along with Dairy MAX, recently sponsored the Oklahoma Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) Annual Conference, which was held in Tulsa in June. As co-sponsors, we brought in National Dairy Council speaker’s bureau expert, Dr. Robert Heaney, to present on vitamin D.
