February 2013 Highlights
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Tony Moeaki has filmed seven videos to utilize in schools in support of Fuel Up to Play 60. The videos offer a fun way for the NFL player to encourage students to become engaged in the program in their schools. Much of the video content focuses on the importance of breakfast. Moeaki also wanted to send a video “thank you” to dairy producers for their support of Fuel Up to Play 60.
January 2013 Highlights
Midwest Dairy Council awarded 50 Fuel Up to Play 60 program advisors from the Ozarks Division with pigskin notebooks for completing two of the six program steps by November 16.
November 2012 Highlights
The Oklahoma state football championship team from Union High School in Tulsa was fueled in part by Midwest Dairy Association. The school's athletic department received $1,000 to purchase two milk boxes as part of a healthy snack nutrition program for its athletes.
