Midwest Dairy Announces Fuel Up with Milk World School Milk Day Contest

After heading back to school this fall, students across the Midwest will be asked to create their very own milk mustache poses for a chance to win Midwest Dairy Council's Fuel Up with Milk World School Milk Day Contest, open from Sept. 18 to Oct. 2, 2013.

After a busy year of leading her peers to make healthier choices, Kylie Kasprick, a Fuel Up to Play 60 Alumni Student Ambassador, will receive Brooklyn Park’s Good Citizenship Award from Mayor Jeff Lunde at the city council meeting on Monday, September 23, at 7 p.m.

Minnesota Dairy Industry Crowns 60th Princess Kay of the Milky Way

MarJenna McWilliam, a 20-year-old college student from Winger, Minn., representing Polk County, was crowned the 60th Princess Kay of the Milky Way in an evening ceremony at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds August 21.

New Dairy Display at Nebraska State Fair

Throughout the 2013 Nebraska State Fair, August 23 through Labor Day, it will be easy for fair-goers to notice Nebraska’s dairy presence. New this year will be an expanded display connected to the milking parlor and dedicated to dairy.
