North Dakota Governor Pledges Committment to Child Health and Wellness

Today, North Dakota Governor Jack Dalrymple pledged his support to the Fuel Up to Play 60 program, an in-school health and wellness program that encourages youth to consume nutrient-rich foods and achieve 60 minutes of physical activity every day.
Scholarships Offered to Students from Dairy Farm Families

Students from dairy farm families in Nebraska who contribute to Midwest Dairy Association through the dairy checkoff are eligible to apply for scholarships offered by the organization.
“Be Our Guest” Concert Raises Nearly $13,000 to Benefit Feeding South Dakota

Thanks to the support of nearly 1,300 South Dakotans, dairy farm families presented Feeding South Dakota with a check for nearly $13,000 at a benefit concert on March 27. Dairy farmers invited the public to "Be Our Guest" at a Sawyer Brown concert at the annual Central Plains Dairy Expo in return for a $10 donation to Feeding South Dakota. Donations will be used to purchase dairy foods to stock food banks across the state.
Midwest Dairy Awards South Dakota State Scholarships

Four students have been selected to receive scholarships from Midwest Dairy Association’s South Dakota Division. They were among those honored during the South Dakota State University (SDSU) Dairy Science Department scholarship banquet on April 2 in Brookings.
Rams Kicker Josh Brown Joins Registered Dietitians at Annual Conference
St. Louis Rams kicker Josh Brown will team up with the Midwest Dairy Council for a Fuel Up to Play 60 activity break at the Missouri Dietetic Association Annual Conference on Thursday, April 19 from 10:30-11:00 a.m. at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac, 1335 S. Lindbergh Blvd. Brown's visit brings Fuel Up to Play 60 program awareness to 150 registered dietitians in attendance at the conference.
