The Wellness Impact Report, which highlights the connection between good nutrition and physical activity and students’ ability to succeed, is one of the tools Midwest Dairy is using to encourage school breakfast expansion. Be Our Guest Concert Raises More Than $15,000 to Purchase Dairy Products for Feeding South Dakota NetworkThanks to the support of hundreds of South Dakotans, dairy farm families presented Feeding South Dakota with a donation of $15,886 following a benefit concert on March 25. Dairy farmers invited the public to "Be Our Guest" at the Roots and Boots tour concert featuring Joe Diffie, Sammy Kershaw and Aaron Tippin at the annual Central Plains Dairy Expo for a $10 donation to Feeding South Dakota.

The dairy checkoff honors America’s dairy farmers and celebrates dairy’s role in creating great-tasting, fun and nostalgic family dishes that evolve from generation to generation.
Working in collaboration with Andrews McMeel Publishing, LLC, the Dairy Comfort Cookbook (working title) will showcase recipes that celebrate dairy’s goodness.
